Simple solutions for complex problems.

Megan Rounds and Bill Landherr have developed an assessment tool that help people see and influence the complex dynamics of their personal, team, and organizational dynamics. Based on the Landscape of Constraint, the Landscape Assessment Tool helps individuals (and group facilitators) take adaptive action to improve comfort and productivity.

In a pilot process, the LAT was completed by five members of a class in the Learning and Organization Development doctoral program at the University of St. Thomas. Their aggregate report is included here . As you look at the report please consider and respond to the following questions:
What questions do you have about how the data is collected and reported?
How does the data visualization work for you?
What would you say to describe what you see in the data?
What are the risks and benefits of a group with this particular portrait?
What action could an individual or a facilitator take to shift the group's dynamics?
How might you use this tool with your team or with your clients?

Thanks for your thoughts. They will certainly help shape the next developmental cycle.

Please keep in mind that this tool has not been tested or released for wide-spread use. This particular report was drawn from input from only five participants, so it is for illustrative purposes only.

Thanks, and we look forward to your thoughts. Glenda Eoyang
